A Word During Transition
We are in a time of transition. What was is no longer, yet we are not yet where we are going. This seems like a do or die time and it can be very easy to get bogged down and disappointed. I want to encourage you to choose to find God in the midst of the changing and rely on His goodness while we wait for the promises that He has given to us come to completion. I want to share with you from the book of Ezekiel. He talks about God restoring His people. I believe that this is the season that we are coming into.
Ezekiel 36:25-30, 33-36
Then I shall sprinkle clean water upon you and you will be clean from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I shall cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart and I will put a new Spirit within you and I will take away the stony heart from your flesh and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I shall put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and you will keep and do My judgements. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers and you will be My people and I AM will be your God. I will also deliver you from all your uncleanness and I shall call for the grain and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. And I shall multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field so you will take no more reproach of famine among the nations….. Thus says Adonai, the LORD, In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities I shall cause the cities to be inhabited and the ruins will be built. And the desolate land will be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all who passed by. And they will say, This land that was desolate has become like the Garden of Eden and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited. Then the nations that are left around you will know that I AM, the LORD, built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate. I AM, the LORD, has spoken and I will do it!
Revival is coming to this nation and that which we thought was utterly destroyed will come to life again. It is interesting that the next passage in the book of Ezekiel is the passage where he speaks to the dry bones and they come back to life. Our God is the God of revival! He brings dead things to life! He causes seeds to grow! He makes rivers in the waste lands! There is nothing too difficult for Him! We are in a time when He is moving and all flesh will see and know that He alone is God!
