Hope From Habakkuk

Today I want to share something a little bit different.

I know that we are living in troubled times; however our God is on the move. For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, we can see the movement of God. I know that many in the Church Family are beaten down and discouraged right now and they struggle to see anything good. If that is you, I want to speak this word of encouragement to you. We are in a season of being pressed on every side. We are crying out to the Living God for deliverance. We feel as though we can hang on no longer. God hears every cry. He sees every injustice. He is not silent and His hand of deliverance is not shortened. His power and glory are preparing to invade the earth. He is moving and if we fix our attention on Him rather than our adverse circumstances, we will see His work in our lives and His moving on our behalf. This is not the time to give in or back down. I want to give you hope to keep on fighting. Our days of struggle are about to be ended as the God of Glory invades our lives and sets us free.

Habakkuk 1:2-5. LORD, how long will I cry and you will not hear! I cry out to You about violence and You will not deliver! Why do you show me wickedness and look upon suffering? For destruction and violence are before me with strife and contention rising up. Therefore the Torah is made numb and judgement never goes forth, for the wicked surround the righteous. Therefore wrong judgement proceeds. The LORD Answers, “Behold, you are among the nations! Look! Wonder marvelously, for I shall work a work in your days, which you will not believe, even though it is told to you.”

Habakkuk goes on to say in 2:2-3. And the LORD answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon the tablets, so he who reads it can run. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak and not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

The promises of God are being released into the earth. He is about to do more than we could ask or imagine. Great exposures have come because without the exposure, evil can not be dealt with. God’s hand of justice is moving across the earth. He is tearing down the kingdom of darkness and replacing it with His Kingdom of light. We are in the greatest days that the earth has ever known. And, in a short while we will behold God’s faithful goodness and our land will rejoice.
