Encouraging Word #22
This is the word that I heard from the Lord on September 13, 2025.
My people need to learn what love is. It is not sitting by in silence as evil takes over. Sometimes loving means going to war so that there can be peace. Love is not just some feel good emotion that makes you happy. It is sacrifice, daily laying yourself down for others. True love, real love is a force that can not be stopped. It is all consuming and full of power. It can transform individuals’ lives and whole societies. Love is not weakness, it is the greatest strength of all. Love always triumphs and it accomplishes all that it sets out to do. Love covers a multitude of sins and it breaks the bonds of oppression. There is nothing greater than love, for in it every good thing is found. Love burns brightly when everything else around it is dark. Love breaks the power of lies and it binds up the wounds of the broken. Love unifies and restores that which has been divided. Love nurtures and encourages growth. Love gives faith and hope to the weary, so that they can endure. Love is the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Society has taught you that love is selfish and self seeking. It has told you that lust is superior to love. All of these lies were told to you, so that you would not tap into what love really is, for when you do your life and the world around you will be transformed.
We have been told that to love someone means to let them do what they want. If we tell the truth we are speaking hate. What kind of love lets others on a path of self destruction and encourages it? That is not love. Yes, there are times when we need to let others make bad decisions, because our intervention would only make things worse. However, at the same time we need to be warring in the spirit for that person and use every small chance we have to speak into them, to lovingly lead them to the truth. We have been taught that love is sort of weak and it stands back. Love is strong and it keeps in the forefront, always on the move. When we look at the example of Christ, he was not afraid to speak the truth. He was not afraid to spend time with those considered undesirable. He was in the hard places with the rough people leading them into something better. I know that there is so much more to love than what we are aware of. God is inviting us to seek Him for more revelation, so that we can love as He loves. That is how we transform the world around us and establish His Kingdom on the Earth.
