Encouraging Word #28

I hope and pray that in these trying times the Lord is proving Himself faithful to you. This is the word that I heard from God on October 6, 2025.

It can be so hard for My people to find Me. It is not because I am far away. It is because I abide in the stillness and My still small voice is best heard when it is quiet. The way that you have been programmed to live is fast paced and busy. There is never a moment for rest and peace. For, even in your small amount of down time, the TV and phone turn on and they capture your attention. You need to find a new way to relax. You need to slow down and find moments of true rest. Read a book and gain knowledge. Play games with your family and enjoy the laughter and the time spent together. Take up a hobby, it is a great way to expand your skill set. Find space in your day for prayer and Bible reading, let Me renew your mind. Go outside and enjoy creation, let it rejuvenate you. All of these things and more can be accomplished by turning off the screens. If you give it a try, you will be amazed at how your life will shift. You will gain strength and exhaustion will go away, you will find the joys in life, and you will find peace and your anxiety will fade. You will reconnect with the things that truly matter and you will gain fullness and satisfaction in your life.
