Seasons

After God gave me a word on September 24, 2025 about there being a time for everything, He started to show me how the seasons of Spring, Summer, Winter, and Autumn are not just about change. They are about advancement and us moving from one place to another. In this cycle we should be going higher and higher with each change. The seasons are to show us how to live and how to move forward as we submit to where they lead us.

God created seasons, they are for our benefit. If we submit to the process of each one our lives should get better and better. Spring leads us into the new. New revelation, new joy, and a freshness in our step. It is a rebirth of all good things and it reminds us that every hard season does come to an end and there is promise on the other side. Springtime fills us with hope and brightness. It is a blessing among seasons if we stop and take in all that it has to offer. Next comes summer, it is all about life and the sowing of seed. The summer brings out of school season, a time for togetherness of the family. It is the season to sow and reap an abundant harvest. It is the time to enjoy the good gifts that our Heavenly Father has given to us. Summer is a season of life. We watch animals grow and many insects that were missing for the winter season come back to remind us that life is abundant. Autumn is a season of letting go. It is about letting that which will not serve us in the days ahead to be left go. If the trees held onto their leaves all winter, with the weight of the snow, their branches would be ripped off. Just like the trees, there are things in our lives that must be let go of so that we can have life in the days ahead. Autumn is also a time to bring in the harvest and store away for the days too come. It is a time to celebrate abundance and provision from God. Lastly we have Winter. It is usually associated with death. However, it is a time of rest. Winter is a much needed dormant season. A time to have peace and rest after the business of the previous seasons. It is a time to enjoy the fruits of our labor and a time to spend time with the ones that we love. In this season we build strength for the work in the seasons ahead.

In each season there are hard things, but there is also blessing and promise. As we surrender to the process we are made new and God is revealed in our lives. He has designed all of life to work together in an ebb and flow that takes us from glory to glory and strength to strength.
