The Book and Daniel and a lesson we learn
This is the word that I heard from God on September 26, 2025. He gave me this information after I read Daniel chapter 3.
In Daniel chapter three we read the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abebnego. When king Nebuchadnezzar was upset that they did not bow and worship his golden image, he said that if they worshiped the golden image it would go well with them but if not, “You will be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace, and who is the God that will deliver you out of my hands?” I just love this, because it shows just how great king Nebuchadnezzar thinks he is. This was not only a challenge to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, but he was challenging their God by saying that He does not have any power over the affairs of men. I love that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego responded that their God was able, but even if He did not come to their rescue, they would not bend a knee to other gods. It is very obvious that these men not only knew of God, but they had a real and personal relationship with Him. They placed all of their hope and trust in His goodness and unfailing love. The best part of the story is that God came through for them. He not only rescued them, but He proved Himself to a pagan king and a nation full of the occult. What a great example this is for us in the times that we are living in.
Ecclesiastes 5:7 If you see the oppression of the poor and violation of right and justice in a province, Do Not Be Amazed At The Matter! For one that is higher than the highest notices, and there is higher than they.”
It doesn’t matter how great men make themselves to be, God is always higher and He keeps a record of everything that happens under the sun. Romans 12:17-19 “Repay no one evil for evil. Respect all that is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ “
Our God is a just God. He is our protection. He upholds us with His mighty right arm. Proverbs 18:10 ” Yahweh’s name is a strong tower: the righteous run to Him, and are safe.”
I want to encourage you as trials come at you from all sides, remember Who you belong to and trust that He is your shield and protection. Vengeance is His, and He is working all things together for your good and His glory. Hold fast to the One Who is above all things. He is for you not against you. And, in due time you will see His goodness and promises invade your life.
